  1. Samsung harkens back to the days of clamshell phones with the new Hennessy smartphone

    Ever since the iPhone (or LG Prada, depending on which side of the fence you’re sitting on) got launched to the mainstream, practically every single phone manufacturer has gone on to embrace the idea of touchscreen phones which are housed in monolithic slabs rather enthusiastically. In fact, apart from a handful of feature phones, touchscreen displays are absolutely ubiquitous in the current day and age. Samsung is a prime example of a company that quickly dumped practically all of its phones with QWERTYs or numeric keypads and now is almost exclusively into making touch phones. Hence, their latest phone, named the Hennessy, is a curious little oddity in every imaginable way as it seems to be from a bygone era but has the relatively modern innards seen in smartphones today.
