  6. New report claims that more Android tablets were sold in Q2 than iPads

      Ever since the iPad got a launch in 2010, there has been a popular consensus that it has the best sales numbers in the entire tablet sector, regardless of what its competition is. We’ve seen stats that indicate that over 90% of all mobile web traffic is driven by iPads/iPhones, as incomprehensible as that sounds.   Now, on the reverse end of the spectrum, a new report from the famed data analytics firm Strategy Analytics indicates that even though tablet shipments went up overall globally in the 1st quarter of 2013 the market share of iPads in the tablet market has shrunk to well below a third in the same period of time.
