'Bendgate' Rears Its Ugly Head (Again)

iPhone 6, bendgate, iphone, apple,Fresh from the release of its yawn-inducing iPhone 7, Apple is secretly still dealing with unhappy iPhone 6 users who suffer from faulty touch screens, ostensibly from the fact their iPhone 6 bends.

Apple has been working with iPhone 6 users to sort these problems out on a case by case basis, but the fact their iPhone 6 does indeed bend is like a bad penny that Apple executives keep tripping over.

Apple appears to be aware of faulty touchscreens on some iPhone 6 units, even if it isn't saying so publicly. And the two-year-old "bendgate" controversy is likely to blame. According to a report by Motherboard's Jason Koebler, Apple's technical support Genius staff at Apple stores have been told about the so-called "touch disease" issue that causes the iPhone 6 touchscreen to stop working.

You can read more about the issue haunting Apple Genius Bar workers right here. Or, you could just upgrade to the iPhone 7 like a true Apple fan.
