New Apple product rumors never seem to be too far away, as the recent iPhone 6 rumors are bound to prove to you. Now, there seems to be a likelihood of Apple working on yet another version of the iPad, shortly on the heels of the launch of its new iPad Air tablet. Read on below to know more.
An International Business Times report claims that that Apple is working on a new version and form factor for its iPad line of tablets. After the 9.7 inch size of the usual iPad, and the 7.9 inch screen size of the iPad Mini, Apple will reportedly go for a large 12.9 inch screen size for this new tablet that reports are dubbing to be the iPad Pro. It will apparently launch with a 2K resolution screen, and will be succeeded by a 4K screen model in late 2014.
The report goes on to claim that the iPad Pro is aimed at usurping some of the productivity quotient of Apple’s very own Macbook Air and Macbook Pro. With users often trying to use the iPad as a productivity device and somewhat failing at the attempt, this new iPad with a large ultra high definition display could go some way towards easing their concerns.
This seems to be a trend with the new Apple device rumors though, as even the iPhone 6 is rumored to have a larger screen. With the Wall Street Journal having reported this earlier as well, this rumor may just have more to it than you’d think!
