Although Samsung has already confirmed the existence of Galaxy S4 Zoom, it has been recently revealed that another phone, which doubles up as high quality a camera, is also gearing up for release. This device has been named Samsung Galaxy NX, and leaked photos of the device have surfaced on the internet, ahead of the 20th June Samsung event.
Samsung’s CEO Shin Jong-Kyun had recently dropped hints about the next Samsung Galaxy camera to be unveiled in the Samsung event on 20th June. The Galaxy NX is the first mirror less camera which runs on Android. In the leaked screenshots, the Galaxy NX appears to be a DSLR camera rather than a point and shoot like the previous Galaxy Camera.
The news was first report by a Vietnamese site, which also reported that the Galaxy NX will have a 20.3 megapixel APS-C sensor camera. The device will be able to record in full HD, with video resolution up to 1920x1080p, and ISO sensitivity up to 25,600 units. It will be running the latest version of Android, which is Jelly Bean 4.2.2. However, the website did not clarify whether the Galaxy NX would have a dual or a quad core processor.
To make the photography experience even better, the Galaxy NX will come with three interchangeable lenses and a 4.3 inch HD screen on the back. The leaked images have shown that the device is very much real, and it is expected to be unveiled at the Samsung event on 20th June.
