The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 was announced in the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona this year and has been on sale since last month. As is typical with their tablets and phones, Samsung chose to launch it in only two colors: Black, and White/Silver. Samsung isn’t one to experiment with the colors and looks of its devices, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 may prove to be an exception, as Samsung is reportedly on the verge of launching it in a new color soon. Read on to find out more about it!
According to a Sammobile report (that was sourced from Samsung’s Dutch subsidiary Samsung Benelux), Samsung plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 in a new color – Brown Black. This Note 8.0 with a new hue is expected to be on sale from week 25 of this year, that is, sometime in the second half of June. The Brown Black variant will be available for the 16 GB variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 WiFi and the Galaxy Note 8.0 3G.
It is important to make it clear that this new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is new in color only, as there are absolutely no changes in its hardware specifications or software. Hence, the Note 8.0 still has an 8 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It has a quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, a 1.3 megapixel front shooter and 5 megapixel rear camera. The Note 8.0 is powered by Android 4.1.2 (AKA Jelly Bean) and supports the S Pen, being a Note device.
