Galaxy S 4 Active possibly leaked?

Galaxy S 4 variants have all been the rage in the rumor mill in recent weeks, with the S 4 Mini and S 4 Zoom being the first to come out of the blocks. Now, according to a GSM Arena report citing a tipster from Croatia, there have been photos and more information revealed about a sturdy and durable version of the Galaxy series of smartphones going by the name of Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active.
The Galaxy S 4 Active is said to be a water and dust resistant version of the Samsung flagship smartphone Galaxy S 4 that’s all the rage currently. According to GSM Arena, the S4 Active is almost identical in terms of its specifications to the Galaxy S 4. It apparently has a quad-core 1.9GHz processor with Adreno 320 GPU, along with a Snapdragon 600 chipset. The screen is said to be the same size (5 inch) and resolution (1920 x 1080) as the original Galaxy S4. However, there does not seem to be any information forthcoming about whether it is a Super AMOLED display or not.
One feature that certainly does see a downgrade to the Galaxy S 4 is the camera – instead of a powerful 13 MP main camera, the S 4 Active is said to have an 8 MP shooter. Should the sensor and software optimizations in the S 4 Active camera be identical to that in the Galaxy S 4, the camera should be nothing to scoff at whatsoever.
Given that the S 4 Active has already been showcased in Croatia (the place from where the tip has been sourced), the S 4 Active is presumably on the verge of an official launch, and from the looks of it, it is an impressive and hardy alternative to the Galaxy S 4.
