Details about the Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini get leaked on Twitter

The Samsung Galaxy S IV got announced by the Korean electronics giant just about a couple of weeks back, and it has been the cynosure of all eyes in the tech world ever since. Samsung may not be content with just grabbing off a huge chunk of the high end smartphone market when Samsung Galaxy S IV gets released to the public, as it seems to have a solution (or 4 solutions, rather) to cornering the mid range smartphone segment as well. If you are wondering how Sammy plans to do that, it’s simple – they are releasing watered down versions of the S IV, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini(s). Moreover, they aren’t just stopping at a single model – there will be four distinct versions of the Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini that’ll be released, going by what the rumor mill has churned out.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini will apparently have a 1.6 GHz dual core processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 4.3 inch screen with a qHD display (i.e. a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels). This makes it a decidedly inferior smartphone compared to its big brother – the Samsung Galaxy S IV (or, for that matter, even the Samsung Galaxy S III). But it will presumably be offered at a far lower price point than either Samsung’s current or ex flagship devices, which in turn will give consumers a chance to get a cutting edge version of Android at a relatively affordable price.
