Facebook for iOS gets updated to v5.5
This entry was posted on Saturday, February 23, 2013.
The official Facebook app for iOS devices has been updated to version number 5.5. It brings in a few changes related to its interface in this new version.
The incredibly popular social networking website has received an unbelievable amount of flak over the past few years. The criticism has been targeted at its frequently buggy nature, its slow operations, a lack of user friendliness, among other things. However, the official Facebook app went native on iOS (as well as Android) in the last few months, and that has led to significantly improved reactions across the board from tech critics and the general public.
Nevertheless, some annoying niggles have remained in the app, and its user interface is still far from ideal. The latest update for the app brings in some changes that are bound to well received by regular users of Facebook in their iPhones and iPad.
The change log with all the new features in version 5.5 of the Facebook for iOS app are listed in the App Store as follows:
“What's New in Version 5.5
