Where's My iPhone?!

Oh, where to begin? The contacts, the messages, the emails, the irreplaceable photos... all gone! But are they?
Introducing the new and improved Find My iPhone: one of the built-in apps in iOS5. Using iCloud technology, Find My iPhone can help you find your lost iPad, iPhone, iPod or Mac; simply use one of your other iDevices to find the missing one.
And its simple to use! Once you've installed iOS5, you'll be prompted to set up Find My iPhone (or iPad or iPod, depending.) You can turn this feature on and off in your Settings, so if you skipped it the first time, you can always go back and set it up. You know, so long as you remember to do it before you lose it.
Then, if you ever do have one of those iPhone losing days, there's no need to fear. You simply log in to icloud.com, enter your iTunes email and password. You'll find the Find My iPhone icon, click on it, and poof!
iCloud will tell you where your iPhone is using Google Maps... to within 200 feet!
The best part? If your iPhone isn't under the couch or in the freezer and you can't get to it immediately, iCloud will allow you to remotely lock your iPhone against any intruders. Or, if you fear it's gone for good, you can remotely wipe your information from your iPhone. So, even if you can't be there in person to keep people from accessing your iPhone, you can still protect your privacy.
So, go grab your iPhone, iPad or iPod and set up Find My iPhone... and the next time you mismatch your socks, at least you'll have the peace of mind of knowing that your iDevice is safe and secure.
