Lufthansa App For iPad Users

iPad users can now use the mobile application of Lufthansa on their iPad for free. It provides a number of functionalities and services with its main focus on flying with Lufthansa. It gives iPad users an entirely new experience as each function has been orientated to iPad specifics.
The key feature of this iPad app is an interactional world map which lets users to search and discover the entire Lufthansa route network. This free application provides useful and practical tips on various airports and offers weather updates.
The ‘Experience Lufthansa’ section gives virtual insights into the Lufthansa universe. Users can interact and experience in person the aviation field with a 3-D setting of Lufthansa’s new European cabin, a 360-degree experience of the A380 cockpit and a wide range of videos and wallpaper motifs to download.
Furthermore, operations of the mobile Lufthansa application such as ’Check-in’, ‘Miles & More Mileage Account’ and ‘My Flight Bookings', are within easy access on the navigation bar.
“Utilization of these services and flight bookings on Smartphones and tablet computers, like the iPad, is becoming increasingly to the fore in online sales,” emphasized Marcus Casey, Head of Online Sales and Mobile Services Lufthansa Passenger Airlines.
“With this iPad app, we are responding to customer requirements, allowing them to find and engage with Lufthansa from wherever they happen to be. Through personalized customer interaction and service visualization, the new app makes the most both functionally and optically of the iPad’s potential.”
This new application expands the range of Lufthansa’s mobile solutions. Applications are already available for users of iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and J2ME Smartphone devices and now it’s available on iPad as well.
