People are talking nowadays about the expectations of Apple to get orders of a total amount of 25 million new iPhone 5 units over the next months. The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple is working hard to ship a record amount of iPhone to end this year with a global surprise.
The journal sources inside the Apple declared that the workers are having sharp new built strategies for the new iPhone 5 so as to be able to manufacture the required amount in time.
It was also mentioned by the Wall Street Journal that the new iPhone 5 will include new models of a wireless baseband chip developed by Qualcomm instead of the old chips that were made by Infineon.
It is also reported that the new iPhone 5 will be lighter and thinner than the iPhone 4, but there was no information about the change in design. On the other hand “ThisIsMyNext” claimed that the new iPhone 5 will be new in everything radically from the old iPhone 4.
In the last quarter Apple shipped more than 18 million iPhones, so the new order of 25 million will be as a bomb compared to the past generation. Apple didn’t comment on the words of the report by the Wall Street Journal and tried to keep the secret of its new iPhone handset.
People commented on the report that they heard that the new iPhone 5 will not have any major changes, but they welcome any changes as long as they are good. They say that the new processor will achieve performance gains of about 30 percent while consuming 50 percent less power. They also assume that Apple has recently filed patents around OLED touch screens that suggest that the new iPhone will include a larger, sharper display also improving visibility in sunlight and reducing power consumption.

The thing that makes Apple Inc.’s products unique beside its products’ quality is its marvelous logo that surprised millions of Apple users.
In 1976, Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne designed the first Apple logo for Apple Inc. which was a pen-and-ink drawing shows Sir Isaac Newton sitting under an apple tree which resembles that an Apple product can let people think and be brilliant as Sir Isaac Newton had discovered the gravity through the apple falling of an apple tree. The logo was good and inspiring, but Jobs though that it was too cerebral and not that easy to be produced at small sizes for smaller products.
In April 1977, Rob Janov - an art director at the Regis McKenna public relations agency – was assigned to design a new Apple logo. After many trials, Rob finally created the well known Apple logo “Rainbow Apple” having a shape of a rainbow-colored apple with a bite taken out of it. He commented "I wanted to simplify the shape of an apple, and by taking a bite--a byte, right?--out of the side, it prevented the apple from looking like a cherry tomato"
That logo was presented in different colors and themes in a way that Jobs liked. People thought that the logo was after Alan Turing who was one of the computer’s fathers and who committed suicide using an apple poisoned with cyanide. But later it was found that the logo was designed with a bite to ensure that the logo is for an apple not another fruit and the rainbow colors represented that the monitor can show colored images.
In 1998, Despite Jobs refused to change neither the Apple logo nor its colors; Apple Inc. stopped using the rainbow colors and started using monochromatic themes that extended to the usage of Aqua and Glass-themed versions which the former president Michael M. Scott calls "the most expensive bloody logo ever designed."
People are wondering why Microsoft would buy out Skype and critics are saying that they paid too much. Critics are asking the hard questions and are wondering what the benefit would be to Microsoft to pay $7.9 billion to acquire Skype.
Some argue that the decision to purchase Skype was a great decision and a much needed one in the battle that is currently taking place today. This addition to the Microsoft network may be just the thing they needed to stay in the game.
The price that they paid for Skype was about double the value of the company and it was about as much as three times what Skype has been valued at just eighteen months ago. With the mixed feelings on the matter it is no surprise that the Microsoft shares dropped in value. Those who are uncertain about the decision are thinking that Microsoft is losing its edge and taking unnecessary risks with their acquisitions.
The Skye CEO states that there is a plan in action that is going to greatly increase the number of users to the Skype network. The goal is to be able to reach out to people all over the world.
The plan is to change the way we look at communication. The rumor around why Microsoft paid so much for Skype is that Facebook and Google had also been thinking about purchasing Skype.
Was this the best decision for Microsoft to purchase Skype? Only time will tell, though some of suggesting it was a wise investment.

Dick Smith is an online retailer that was hit with a glitch in their online shopping cart that allowed all of their electronics to be sold for zero dollars. Every product in their store was marked as free on their online website just recently.
These items ranged from plasma televisions, smart phones, computers and more, and everything was marked down to nothing. The glitch affected one site in New Zealand by allowing a customer to purchase a 46-inch plasma TV and all they had to pay for was the shipping charges.
Other customers were able to purchase multiple items on the website and only had to pay small shipping charges. The question that was now asked is will they receive the items? The answer, each person who purchased from the website during the glitch period will be contacted to see if they would like a refund for the shipping charges they paid for or if they would like to go ahead and repurchase the items at the current and correct price.
Did anyone walk away from this victorious? Perhaps the techies who had originally presented the potential problem, or not. The website is currently down for maintenance and will remain so until the problem has been resolved.
So if you purchased one of those high priced ticket items during Dick Smith's online shopping glitch, be prepared for a friendly phone call asking you to decide if you really do want that 42-Plasma Television.
Rumors have begun to go around that say that Apple's iPad’s and iPhone’s have a security flaw. When the rumors were confirmed by Apple, we discovered that a security hole was there and that allowed hackers to attack these gadgets.
When it was discovered that criminals could use this security hole on the iPad’s and iPhone’s to steal confidential data off the devices, Apple made a decision to begin working on resolving the issue. The fix will be distributed to all users via an upgrade which is recommended that all users of iPhone’s and iPad’s do regularly to keep their gadget up to date.
The method that the hackers can use to access the personal data off of the gadget is to trick the owner of the device into opening an infected PDF file. While these devices are still far safer than your traditional home computers, it is quickly becoming a highly lucrative target for cyber criminals.
Since there are always software vulnerabilities it is important to understand that there are always going to be security risks especially when you as the gadget user choose to install your own software.
The lesson that can be learned from this is that the user of the device, just as the user of the home computer needs to ensure that they are taking every precaution to ensure that they are being diligent with the information they keep on their device or with the programs they choose to install.
While Apple did discover that the iPad's and iPhone’s do have a security flaw they are working diligently to fix the problem.
