I know the title looks really weird, windows 7 on an iPad!! I guess the questions running at the back of your head would be:
- Why do I need Windows on my iPad?
- Is it even possible to get windows on an Apple device? The whole idea might sound weird but actually many people have had this thought before. Yes the Mac OS is very stable, smoothly operates and looks great, but if you are a techy or business person with interest in different types of applications and a windows background then you might need windows on your iPad from time to time.
I personally trade Forex and I’m unable to install my MetaTrader on my iPad to trade easily on the move, so I just thought it would be great if I could get Windows 7 from time to time to run some applications but never lose the actual look and feel of my Apple iPad.I then decided to look for a way to get windows 7 on iPad temporarily and never lose my Apple experience. The solution was pretty simple; I had to get a cloud windows desktop account through a desktop service provider. Once you get a virtual desktop account you can access windows from any device around the globe, so this is your central PC with all your applications and files. After setting up my account I was ready to experience Windows 7 on iPad and at last I could run my applications that were not supported on iPad OS 4. The great part about this is, you don’t actually perform any modification to the device and it’s very simple to switch Windows on and off. However, the major drawback is that you have to pay for a virtual desktop which usually costs about $25-$30 a month, so you wouldn’t be interested in trying this solution to get windows 7 on your iPad unless you need it badly.
This interesting iPhone app allows you to combine two photos and have a preview of what the future baby would look like; it allows you to use ready installed celebrity photos or other photos directly from your iPhone. When you select your parents photos its scientific process would start to run to find out the future baby face. This process starts with scanning the eyes, nose, ears, hair & mouth, once this is completed the future baby face is displayed on your iPhone.
The fun part is really experienced when you try to find out the future baby for completely different looking celebrities and what their features generate. After playing around with several celebrities and soccer players I decided to give some family and friends a trial on this interesting iPhone app. The moment I started adding photos of people I knew I couldn’t stop; it was so hilarious finding out what the future baby’s face would be of my friends and family.
Apart from being a great and fun app for my iPhone and although the developers have explained that the accuracy of this app is really high, I actually sometimes get some weird baby faces. On several occasions when I selected two white parents I would get a black baby and vice versa and every 5-6 parents I shared with the Future baby’s face app I would get results that I didn’t feel would be true.
Despite sometimes not being accurate, it’s still a very entertaining app to install on your iPhone and it’s free of charge. So just log into your ITunes store and give the Future Baby Face iPhone app a go.
Playing video games for many was just seen as recreational. This was a time to just enjoy yourself and relax with friends. Recently it was seen to be more than that according to the law of the United States, “Like the protected books, plays and movies that preceded them, video games communicate ideas — and even social messages — through many familiar literary devices (such as characters, dialogue, plot, and music) and through features distinctive to the medium (such as the player’s interaction with the virtual world),” Justice Antonin Scalia.Despite a California law that was intended to stop the sale of video games that are violent to minors, the law of the United States now deem video games as being an emotional form of engagement and expression, intellect and creativity. They also decided that the ideas that children may expose themselves are not in any way the responsibility of the government. Many people may find video games to be disgusting, vulgar and crude but it was noted that it has the potential that will allow these young teenagers to become aware of the consequences of their actions.
For persons who have been playing video games for years understand that these games not only help them to find new ways of exploring and thinking about human relationships but it also helps broaden their horizons about the world around them.
The decision made reflects that in society video games have now become the most vibrant media form of entertainment. With the video game industry always feeling as though they are not being fully understood now has great shoes to fill. They can no longer play the role of victim in their media circle so these programmers, writers, designers, artists and executives need to rise to the occasion and show the rest of society really how creative and invaluable their minds are.

Everyone knows that the best online social network is Facebook Inc., however a new competitor (Google) seems to be on the rise.Google Inc. (GOOG), the giant search engine of the world, is attempting to compete with Facebook Inc.’s site with their new social networking service.
Google+ has similar characteristics to Facebook: messages, updates of photos, comments and a few other features. This service is intended to merge with Google’s images and maps as it seeks to make social networking easier for persons within friendship circles.Instead of running head on into Facebook, which may have brought them to their demise, their strategy is to grow from this niche and target persons who would like to be connected to a specific circle or group. By doing this they have a small chance to be successful. With the realization that more and more people are spending time social networking via the internet, Google is trying to entice these internet users by releasing these new social features as ploys to get them to access their own services and by extension help with the growth of advertising sales. After last year’s misguidance with Buzz, which was introduced to Gmail as a social component they have decided to attempt social networking through Google+.
Initially this service will only be available to a limited set of users. Some of the features in Google+ are:Sparks – gathers videos as well as articles based on hobbies or topics of interest.
Hangouts – Allows friends to video chat with multiple people
Mobile Google+: This is for handsets with Android software. The company is currently requesting from Apple Inc. (AAPL) approval to introduce services for their iPhone. This mobile version will enable text-messaging chats with a number of persons and videos and photos will be automatically stored online for future access.
This “baby” size robot is compatible to a seven month child with its height at 31 inches and its weight at 11.9 pounds. The Pneuborn-7II was created to research the connection between embodiment and motor development. With yaw joint and three pitch in the robot’s spin it allows Pneuborn-7II the ability to flex, extend and rotate. This robot is full independent with the uses of a micro controller, battery, an air source (a cartridge bottle containing compressed CO2) and of course air valves. Air is provided during long experiments with the help of an external compressor.
Powered by central pattern generators (CPGs) makes it possible for Pneuborn-7II to craw or roll over. CPG’s a neutral network makes these patterns of movement achievable as the help create rhythmic motions in robotics. A learning algorithm was installed by the researchers which assists the CPGs in successful motions. All this was achievable despite the fact the robot had no sort of sophisticated artificial intelligence and sensors.
This robot imitates an older infant of 13 months that is 29.5 inches tall and a weight of 8.5 pounds. It also has freedom of about 21 degrees. The Pneuborn-13 just like the Pneuborn-7II is fully independent. It has a structure that is similar to Pneuborn-7II but it doesn’t have the same spin. The Pneuborn-13 model was designed to research the effect that the loco motor system has on the beginning of bipedal walking. Keeping this in mind the muscles in its, hip joints, ankle and knew are its main focus. There are eighteen of these pneumatic muscles. This robot is capable of making stepping motions as well as maintains a standing posture.
This is the question that has plagued many people today, are cyber criminals spying on you? The answer will surprise you. Did you know that there were a recorded number of one quarter million cases of hacking within the last several months?

How much are they being paid? In some cases they are being paid just a few hundred dollars per month to access your personal information. If you think it is just your computers you have to concern yourself with. It is not, you’re smart phones are also subject to the same hacking and at the same low rates.
The cyber criminal company boasts the fact that they can access virtually any email, Smartphone, and computer. The client that purchases the service has a log on and can access all of the emails from the online database.
The company assures their clients that no legal action can be taken against the client. These cyber criminals are offering their services and offering a guarantee. However, authorities warm those who purchase the services of these cyber criminals that if found to be involved they will be held liable and penalties will be harsh.
Here are some tips to help you protect yourself against these cyber attacks:
Choose a difficult password. Make sure that the password includes upper case and lower case letters and numbers
Change it often about every month to every 3 months on average
Don’t open attachments sent to you unless you know who they are from and even then confirm that the person sending it actually sent it to you.
You now know that cyber criminals are spying on you so now you can be better armed and prepared to deal with them.

Around 1946 at the Raytheon Corporation, Dr. Percy Spencer, self taught engineer, was doing a project on radar-related research. While testing a magnetron, a vacuum tube, he noticed that the candy bar that was in his pocket had been melted. His curiosity as to how this was possible lead Spencer to try another experiment. Using some pop corn kernels he placed them near the tube and watched in amazement as the popcorn popped all over the lab.Dr. Spencer created a metal box that had an opening. Through that opening he fed microwave power. With the energy in the box unable to escape it created a high density electromagnetic field. Food was placed in the metal box its temperature rose quickly. Thus began the birth of the microwave oven. The first model of the microwave, Radarange was revealed by Raytheon in 1947 and was nearly 6 feet tall and weighed a whooping 750 pounds and cost about $5000 each. This microwave oven had to be installed be a plumber so that the magnetron tube could be water-cooled.
During this era the microwave oven was barley accepted. As technology advanced they were able to further improve and refine the microwave oven. They made it more reliable, light weight and there was no longer the need for installation. In 1965, the first counter top domestic microwave oven which was 100-volt was introduced. The cost of this microwave oven was remarkable cheap at just under $500. It was more reliable, smaller and safer than the previous models. As of to date the microwave oven has been filtered all around the world. It is known as an international phenomenon.
Dr. Percy LaBaron Spencer on September 18, 1999 admitted as a member to the National Inventors Hall of Fame with other famous inventors.
Celluar phone, who is the brains behind the call? Dr. Martin Cooper was raised in Chicago and earned his degree as an electrical engineer from Illinois Institute of Technology. He spent four years in the navy working on a submarine and destroyers. He then worked in Telecommunications Company for one year. With this change of scenery he was hired in 1954 by Motorola. Dr. Cooper was one of the people responsible for the first portable police radios in 1967 in the Chicago police department. After this successful venture Dr. Cooper was promoted to lead Motorola’s cellular research as the project manager.
The idea of the cellular communications was introduced by Bell Laboratories, the research arm of AT&T, in 1947. It was in the 60’s and early 70’s however that Bell Labs and Motorola raced to see who could incorporate the technology to the portable devices. At the age of 70 Cooper’s desire was to enable persons to have the luxury of walking with their phones anywhere they wished to go.
Needless to say, Motorola won the race for cellular phones and Cooper is now considered to be the inventor of the first portable handset as well as the first one to successfully make a call on the handset in April, 1973. Guess who he made the first call to? Yes, he made it to his rival, Joel Engel, the head of the research department at Bell Labs.
In 1973, a base station was set up in New York with the first 2-pound, Dyna-Tac Motorola handset. After doing some initial testing, the Federal Communications Commission (F.C.C.), Motorola and Mr. Cooper they were ready to publicly display the cellular phone. The features of the portable handset included:
· Name: Motorola Dyna-Tac
· Size: 9 x 5 x 1.75 inches
· Weight: 2.5 pounds
· Display: None
· Number of Circuit Boards: 30
· Talk time: 35 minutes
· Recharge Time: 10 hours
· Features: Talk, listen, dial
Now you know who the brains are behind the cellular phones.
