Apple Redying iOS 4.3 Update To Fix Location Issues
This entry was posted on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.
With Apple in the docks for the contentious location tracking issue, it was expected that the company would soon bring an update that would fix the issue. It’s no wonder then that folks over at BGR are reporting about the arrival of a software update to iOS 4.3 in the next few weeks or "possibly sooner." as they put it.
BGR, which seems to have been sent an early version of this very update adds that that this update doesn’t to back up the location details to iTunes. In fact, the size of the database has been deleted altogether and when location services are turned off, the database is completely deleted.
All these changes seem to have a positive effect on the battery life aspect which according to BGR has increased marginally.
If you have been paranoid about App;e tracking your activities and whatever you do on your iPhone, this update might just bring some relief to you!
