Looks like it’s not just the successor to the existing Galaxy S that would debut at next month’s MWC. There is now a talk of a kiddie brother that would join the Galaxy S family soon. In fact, we already have leaked images of this little one – that for some reason do not look fake to me – at least prima facie.
Unlike the Galaxy S2, which would obviously have superior features compared to the current crop of Galaxy S devices, this one would get slightly lesser awe inspiring specs. But still, a 3.5″ display with 320×480 pixels plus a 5 megapixel camera and running Froyo aint such a bad deal after all for a mid-range handset.
It is slated to run Qualcomm’s budget processor – the MSM7227. The model number of the phone is S5830, and it’s quad-band with WCDMA support. Looks like we would be seeing some interesting devices from Samsung at the MWC. Now only if they came up with a smartphone based on their foldable OLED displays shown off at the CES!
