Telia Sonera has announced the launch of the first LTE network in Denmark. The announcement should jot come as a surprise because the company was the first to announce the launch of the first commercial LTE service anywhere on the planet. That was in 2009.
The service currently serves the four largest cities in Denmark and is expanding. The network will soon cover 75 percent of the population in Denmark.
The service, as expected would be expensive with the monthly rental amounting to about $71. But them the kind of data speeds you would get on these networks would be simply awesome and paying a price for it to become an early adopter seems quite OK we think.
